A path to universal brotherhood through spiritual awakening

Welcome

A spiritual home, not a sect

MAHARISHI YOGA ASHRAM is devoted to the realization of Godhood through virtuous living and inner awakening. It belongs to no cult and no creed — it offers an action-oriented spiritual ideology in which every seeker, whatever their background, is welcome. Founded and guided by Maharishi Yogi Madhusudan on the banks of the Ganga at Kankhal, Haridwar, the ashram exists to help sincere seekers walk that path with steadiness.

Our teaching

God is one, known by many names

The ashram holds that the visible world is the creation of the formless Brahma — the Supreme Being who creates, sustains and dissolves the universe. Though formless, God may assume visible form through the grace of a realized Sadguru (a fully realized spiritual master). Different beliefs and cultures are woven here into a single divine thread, with equal respect for all religions.

Body and intellect are gifts
