Our Mission

Mahrishi Yoga Ashram does not stand for any religious cult or sect. It propagates an action-oriented spiritual ideology that seeks to establish universal brotherhood in society, through virtuous living and the awakening of the spirit within.

Our Core Belief

The ashram believes that this visible world is the creation of the formless Brahma — the Supreme Being who creates, sustains and dissolves the universe, and who has manifested Himself in many forms while remaining beyond all form. Though God is formless, He may assume a visible form through the grace of a realized Sadguru. The fulfilment of human life lies in the realization of God.

Uniting All Paths

The ashram's spiritual ideology has drawn aspirants of different classes, beliefs and religions. The prudent recognize that God is one, though called by different names, and that He can be realized in body and form through the grace of the Sadguru. The ashram sees its work as embedding different beliefs and cultures into one single divine thread, with equal respect for all religions.

Science and Spirituality

Spiritualism has no conflict with scientific development; the two are complementary. The edifice of scientific progress cannot stand without the foundation of spiritualism. A scientist who considers the whole of society a family will never harness science as an instrument of destruction, but only as an instrument for the development of mankind. The ashram therefore does not take scientific development to be an obstacle, but deems spiritual upliftment absolutely essential.
